...in an email to a friend...."I have no delusions of fairy tales, knights in shining armor or the stuff you see in movies. What I am is disappointed. Because I believe and hope, I am saddened when I see a person with potential fall so miserably short of the mark. So for a while, I am wounded. I am human, I get hurt. Everyone does. Then I get up, move on….and hope.
I live and breathe hope. In a life that kicks you down and maims the soul, what else can you do? What else can you have, if not hope?
